10/26/2010 · I’m currently in Phase 1 in the p90x program, and I only do the Ab Ripper X 3 times a week (days 1,3,5). I find that to be sufficient since my goal is to tone up. If your trying to slim down a few inches, then mixing abs with cardio is your answer. A good alternative (and way more low impact) to the ab ripper , is doing Pilates.

Ab Ripper X every day ? I stopped doing P90x a while ago but still do the Chest/Shoulder/Tris, Biceps/Back, and Leg/back workouts while still doing ab ripper X . Recently though I’ve been considering doing ab ripper X on off days as well, when I usually run a couple of miles or row a 5000 on the machine.
Ab Ripper X . I hate it but I love it. Overview: Ab Ripper X is the toughest part of P90X , despite the fact that its only 15 minutes long and youre sitting on your butt the whole time. The reason is because you truly blast your abs, making those 15 minutes torturous, and that you have to do this workout 3 x week.
Not a veteran, but I skipped it or half-assed it the first couple of weeks. Which I regret now. Then on I started doing AB Ripper X first and I suck to the 25 reps, but it took me close to 45 mins to complete the next few times. I’m in the second phase now and I’m timing around 25 mins with breaks. I wish I could do AB Ripper X everyday .
